Most Claims Tossed In Reggae Monopoly Suit Against UMG

Law360, New York (April 29, 2011, 3:27 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Wednesday threw out three claims by Bob Marley record distributor Rock River Communications Inc. alleging Universal Music Group Inc. tried to create a reggae monopoly, leaving Rock River just one claim in its three-year legal battle with the major label.
