Cuomo Probes Pension Fund Conflict Of Interest

Law360, New York (May 8, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has launched an investigation into potential conflicts of interest stemming from the state comptroller’s handling of New York’s largest pension fund.

Cuomo announced the investigation at a press conference on Monday, telling reporters that his office has been looking into the issue since January. The office of Albany County District Attorney David Soares is also involved in the investigation.
