Oak Group Settles Suit Over Army Maintenance Contract

Law360, New York (May 3, 2011, 3:31 PM EDT) -- The Oak Group Inc. on Monday settled a dispute with the federal government in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims over the termination of an Army contract for maintenance work at an Alabama military base.

The agreement closes Oak's suit alleging that the contract's termination was the result of miscommunication between the company and contracting officials, and not due to the company's failure to pay a $10 million bond, as the government claimed.
