US Renews Transcript Plea For Fresh Rajaratnam Jury

Law360, New York (May 4, 2011, 11:56 AM EDT) -- Prosecutors in the New York insider trading trial of Raj Rajaratnam on Wednesday renewed a request to give jurors transcripts of wiretap recordings as they begin fresh deliberations following the dismissal of a juror for health reasons.

Assistant U.S. attorney Reed Brodsky told U.S. District Judge Richard J. Holwell in the Galleon Group LLC founder's case that jurors, who asked for replays of several recordings Wednesday, may not know which calls they're looking for because they do not have transcripts to reference.
