Prosecutors Toughen Sentence Request For Ex-NY Sen.

Law360, New York (May 11, 2011, 5:45 PM EDT) -- Federal prosecutors said Tuesday that a former New York state senator who pled guilty to extorting kickbacks from attorneys should face the stiffest possible sentence because the ex-lawmaker has not “accepted responsibility for his actions.”
