Ex-TSMC Worker Pleads Guilty In Networking Scheme

Law360, New York (May 11, 2011, 6:57 PM EDT) -- A former Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd. account manager pled guilty in New York on Wednesday to providing hedge funds with inside tips while serving as a consultant with Primary Global Research.

Manosha Karunatilaka, 37, admitted in Manhattan federal court to working with the so-called expert networking firm and providing illegal information to investors over a period between 2007 and late 2010.
