Blagojevich Loses Latest Bid For FBI's Obama Notes

Law360, New York (May 16, 2011, 4:17 PM EDT) -- An Illinois federal judge on Monday reportedly shot down Rod Blagojevich's latest attempt to get his hands on notes from an FBI interview of President Barack Obama conducted during the agency’s investigation of the former Illinois governor.

U.S. District Judge James B. Zagel said at Blagojevich's retrial that there was a dearth of evidence to suggest that in 2008, Obama knew the Illinois ex-governor might have tried to sell off the Illinois U.S. Senate seat that the then-President-elect vacated after that year's presidential election, according to...
