NY Judge Refuses IMF Chief's Bail On Sex Charges

Law360, New York (May 16, 2011, 4:16 PM EDT) -- A New York City judge on Monday denied bail to Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund, who was arrested over the weekend on charges that he sexually assaulted a maid at a Manhattan hotel.

Judge Melissa C. Jackson remanded Strauss-Kahn, who didn't enter a plea, to custody, according to New York County District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr.
