GAO Denies Protest Over $183M Army Contract

Law360, New York (May 17, 2011, 2:20 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office said Monday it had rejected ERC Inc.'s protest over the award of a U.S. Army contract worth more than $183 million for support services at the Redstone Test Center in Alabama.

In its April 19 decision, made public Monday, the GAO was unmoved by Huntsville, Ala.-based ERC's arguments that elements of the cost realism evaluation of both its proposal and the proposal of the winning bidder, AI Signal Research Inc., also of Huntsville, were unreasonable.
