Ex-Dallas Auditor Seeks Fast Win On Retaliation Claim

Law360, New York (May 17, 2011, 7:05 PM EDT) -- A former fraud auditor sought summary judgment Tuesday on his claim that Dallas improperly fired him in retaliation for filing a False Claims Act suit against the city over alleged Medicare overbilling.

Douglas Moore, an assistant fraud auditor employed by the city of Dallas in 2009, said he was suddenly and wrongfully terminated by Dallas City Auditor Craig Kinton, on Dec. 2, two days after the city learned about the FCA suit he had filed against the city, according to the motion for summary judgment....
