Cisco Settles Medical Data Networking Patent Suit

Law360, New York (May 17, 2011, 8:51 PM EDT) -- Networking technology giant Cisco Systems Inc. on Tuesday settled a Texas suit brought by Vigilos LLC accusing a number of medical technology companies of infringing a patent for a remote access networking communication system.

Cisco and Vigilos filed a joint motion to dismiss the case, saying they reached an agreement to "settle, adjust and compromise all claims." The motion did not include details of the agreement.
