Delta, Wells Fargo Spar Over $445M In Claims

Law360, New York (May 11, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Delta Air Lines has fired back at Wells Fargo Bank Northwest NA over Wells Fargo’s attempt to compel Delta to make distributions on $445 million in claims related to aircraft leases, calling Wells Fargo’s motion asking the court to direct Delta to pay out on the claims meritless.

Thursday, Delta filed opposition papers in response to an April 29 motion by Wells Fargo asking U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Adlai Hardin to sign off on an order compelling Delta to make disbursements on claims worth $445,684,463.
