NASA Seeks Anchor Tenancy Contracts For Space Goods

Law360, New York (May 26, 2011, 12:12 PM EDT) -- NASA issued a rule proposal Wednesday to allow the agency to award anchor tenancy contracts for commercial space goods and services, amending federal regulations to fix what the agency said was an incorrect prohibition on such contracts.

The proposed rule would implement a section of the Commercial Space Competitiveness Act of 1992 that authorizes NASA to enter multiyear anchor tenancy contracts, according to a notice in the Federal Register.
