Dell, Sales Reps Strike Deal In Overtime Action

Law360, New York (May 26, 2011, 3:25 PM EDT) -- Dell Inc. reached a settlement Thursday in Texas federal court with a nationwide collective class of business sales representatives who accused the computer manufacturer of stiffing them of overtime compensation.

Dell and lead plaintiff Hitul Gandhi filed a joint motion seeking court approval for the agreement, which was filed separately under seal, arguing that the private deal was the result of hard-fought litigation that would provide a reasonable outcome for both sides.
