Oracle Joins Opposition To New Century Sale

Law360, New York (May 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Oracle USA has joined others in objecting to New Century's bid to sell its loan servicing business to Carrington Capital Mortgage LLC and Carrington Mortgage Services LLC unless a higher bidder is found.

Oracle on Tuesday filed an objection to New Century's motion to go ahead with the sale of the assets of the servicing business, which include an “Oracle-Database” and its intellectual property licenses, in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
