Grant Thornton Blasts Fund's Subpoenas In Refco Fight

Law360, New York (June 2, 2011, 12:31 PM EDT) -- Subpoenas that plaintiff Thomas H. Lee Equity Fund V LP served on Grant Thornton LP in May are a "transparent attempt to reopen fact discovery" in their fight over losses from the collapse of Refco Inc., the defendant told a New York federal court Wednesday, as part of the Refco multidistrict litigation.
