Memorylink Can Depose Motorola Atty In Tech Theft Suit

Law360, New York (June 2, 2011, 5:04 PM EDT) -- An Illinois federal judge on Thursday ruled that Memorylink Corp. can question a former Motorola Inc. in-house attorney in its patent and contract suit alleging Motorola stole its wireless video transmission technology.

U.S. District Judge Nan R. Nolan rejected Motorola's protests that it had attorney-client privilege with its former counsel, ruling `that while at Motorola, lawyer Hugh C.
