Ex-Primary Global Worker Cops To Conspiracy

Law360, New York (June 7, 2011, 9:32 PM EDT) -- A former Primary Global Research LLC employee admitted Tuesday in New York federal court to helping connect hedge fund workers to technology company insiders in Taiwan for the purpose of obtaining illegal inside information.

Don Chu, 57, pled guilty to two conspiracy counts, naming multiple clients whom he knew were receiving illicit tips, including former SAC Capital Advisors LP portfolio manager Noah Freeman and Barai Capital Management LP founder Samir Barai.
