SEC Agrees To Drop Trivium From Polycom Trading Suit

Law360, New York (June 9, 2011, 2:23 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission agreed Tuesday to drop hedge fund firm Trivium Capital Management LLC from a civil case brought in New York federal court against the firm's founders and Polycom Inc. employees allegedly implicated in an insider trading ring.

A lawyer representing the agency signed a stipulation dismissing the agency's claims against Trivium with prejudice. The agreement was approved by Judge Jed S. Rakoff, who also entered a $48,035 judgment against another defendant in the case, former Market Street Partners employee Shammara Hussain....
