Exxon Strikes Deal In Enviro Group's Waste Suit

Law360, New York (June 10, 2011, 7:58 PM EDT) -- Exxon Mobil Corp. settled a lawsuit in California on Thursday brought by Northern California River Watch alleging the energy giant released hazardous waste from three gas stations that it sold to another company in 2000.

U.S. District Judge Phyllis J. Hamilton issued an order dismissing the suit with prejudice. According to the order, each party will bear its own costs in the litigation, but no further details about the settlement were immediately available Friday.
