Safeway Can't Dodge Recall Notice Class Action

Law360, New York (June 13, 2011, 3:42 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge ruled Monday that supermarket chain Safeway Inc. will have to face a putative class action accusing it of violating state law by not informing customers of safety-related recalls via email.
