Analyst Wants Enforcement Of Seyfarth OT Settlement

Law360, New York (June 13, 2011, 7:14 PM EDT) -- The lead plaintiff in a successful overtime class action against Seyfarth Shaw LLP on Monday asked an Illinois federal judge to enforce a settlement agreement and to order the firm to stop retaliating against her.

The plaintiffs in the Fair Labor Standards Act action against the firm are current and former affirmative action analysts at Seyfarth’s Illinois offices. Analyst Lynne Harris sued Seyfarth in 2009, claiming the firm misclassified her and similar Illinois-based analysts as exempt from overtime pay.
