Colony Wins $22M Defense Verdict In Roof Damage Suit

Law360, New York (June 14, 2011, 3:52 PM EDT) -- Colony Insurance Co. on Monday defeated a $22 million lawsuit brought in Texas state court by a Houston homeowners association seeking coverage for roof damage to 250 townhouses, Colony's attorneys said.

A Texas judge entered final judgment for Colony Insurance on Monday after a jury sided against Summer Hill Village Community Association Inc. at the end of a 10-day trial, according to Eggleston & Briscoe LLP, the firm representing Colony.
