AmeriHealth Settles Eating Disorder Coverage Suit

Law360, New York (June 14, 2011, 6:45 PM EDT) -- AmeriHealth Insurance Co. of New Jersey reached a settlement Tuesday with plaintiffs in a New Jersey putative class action accusing it of improperly limiting coverage for the treatment of eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia.
