Dole Offers Banana Workers Deal In Pesticide Row

Law360, New York (June 15, 2011, 2:22 PM EDT) -- Dole Food Co. has tentatively agreed to settle with more than 5,000 banana plantation workers in Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Honduras who claim they were exposed to a pesticide that caused cancer and other health problems, an attorney for the plaintiffs said Wednesday.
