Judge Puts Sheen Case In Arbitration, Not Limelight

Law360, New York (June 15, 2011, 7:02 PM EDT) -- Former “Two and a Half Men” star Charlie Sheen was blocked from airing his $100 million wrongful termination suit against the hit show's co-creator Chuck Lorre in public, as a California judge ruled Wednesday that the case must be handled in arbitration.

California Superior Court Judge Allan J. Goodman ruled that the arbitration clause in Sheen's contract with WB Studios Enterprises Inc. was valid and specifically laid out that an arbitrator should determine if the claims in Sheen's case against Lorre and Warner Bros. should be...
