Contractor Sues Army Over Uniform Solicitation

Law360, New York (June 17, 2011, 3:22 PM EDT) -- Golden Manufacturing Co. Inc. launched a suit in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims on Thursday challenging the Defense Logistic Agency's decision to prematurely drop it from a competition for a contract to provide combat coats and trousers for the U.S. Army.

The DLA unlawfully removed Golden from the contract competition after a phase one evaluation without fulfilling its obligation to analyze the realism of the prices submitted by offerors in response to the solicitation, according to the complaint.
