Baby Bells Triumph With High Court’s Dismissal

Law360 (May 21, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court drove a stake into the heart of a closely watched antitrust conspiracy lawsuit on Monday, ruling that a parallel conduct complaint filed against a group of major telecommunications providers known as the "Baby Bell" companies should be dismissed because the plaintiffs had failed to present enough facts for the case to survive in federal court.
