Avon Settles With Ad Agency Over Liiv Brand

Law360, Los Angeles (June 17, 2011, 7:07 PM EDT) -- An advertising agency settled its copyright infringement and breach of contract suit against beauty supplier Avon Products Inc. in New York on Thursday.

U.S. District Judge Richard Sullivan’s dismissal brings to a close a lawsuit alleging that a beauty products company with almost $11 billion in 2010 revenues exploited an ad agency with false promises of work, then stole the design and marketing materials it created.
