Frito Lay Settles Delivery Drivers' OT Action For $1.5M

Law360, New York (June 20, 2011, 4:17 PM EDT) -- Snack maker Frito Lay Inc. on Wednesday agreed to pay $1.57 million to settle a putative class action accusing it of failing to pay Pennsylvania delivery people proper overtime.

The company and plaintiffs — route salesman representatives who distribute snacks in Pennsylvania — asked U.S. District Judge Joy Flowers Conti to give her approval to a deal that would end the lawsuit.
