Feds Unveil New Charges In CityTime Kickback Case

Law360, New York (June 20, 2011, 7:56 PM EDT) -- Federal prosecutors announced charges Monday against two more individuals in connection with an alleged kickback scheme involving contractors tied to New York City's over-budget CityTime project, which aimed to overhaul the city's payroll program.

An indictment unsealed in New York federal court Monday named Padma Allen and Reddy Allen, and their company TechnoDyne LLC, as the heart of the alleged scheme that involved as many as $40 million in kickbacks and $600 million in city funds.
