Illinois Lawmakers Urge FCC To OK Tribune Request

Law360 (May 22, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A group of 14 Illinois congressmen have asked the Federal Communications Commission chairman to act swiftly on Tribune Co.’s request for temporary exemption from new cross-media ownership rules in an attempt to protect the company’s $8.2 billion sale.
