Suit Says Ramona's Mislabels Burrito Sodium Info

Law360, New York (June 21, 2011, 3:32 PM EDT) -- A former customer beaned Ramona's Mexican Food Products Inc. with a class action in California state court Friday, alleging its burritos contain at least twice the calories and sodium levels claimed on their packaging.

Bonnie Solomon alleges that while the labeling on 12-packs of Ramona's beef and green chili burritos says each burrito contains 170 calories and 270 milligrams of sodium, the labeling on each individual burrito inside the 12-pack says it contains 340 calories and 580 milligrams of sodium.
