Ashley Furniture Unfairly Uses Brando's Likeness: Trust

Law360, New York (June 23, 2011, 7:57 PM EDT) -- The trust that holds actor Marlon Brando's intellectual property rights sued Ashley Furniture Industries Inc. in California state court on Thursday, alleging its "Brando" line of sofas and ottomans infringes a trademark and unfairly trades on the actor's likeness.
