Supreme Court Rebuffs Abu Ghraib Detainees' Suit

Law360, New York (June 27, 2011, 3:09 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear an appeal in a case seeking to hold defense contractors Titan Corp. and CACI International Inc. responsible for detainee abuse that took place at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq.

In a short order, the high court denied a petition to overturn an appeals court’s decision to throw out claims against the two companies.
