Ex-Blackwater Agent Gets 30 Months For Afghan Killings

Law360, New York (June 27, 2011, 7:56 PM EDT) -- The second of two ex-Blackwater Worldwide contractors accused of shooting three Afghan citizens in 2009, and killing two, was sentenced Monday in Virginia to 30 months in prison.

Justin Cannon, 29, of Corpus Christi, Texas, was convicted in March of involuntary manslaughter in the killing of one man, but acquitted of other charges, including second-degree murder and assault.
