More Drivers Lash Out At FedEx

Law360 (May 24, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Two Connecticut complaints have joined the growing list of suits filed nationwide by FedEx Ground Package System Inc. drivers accusing the delivery giant of misclassifying them as independent contractors while allegedly treating them as employees.

Both complaints were filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, the first such cases to be filed in the state, according to the plaintiffs' attorney, Richard Hayber.
