US PET Film Cos. Voice Support For Korean Duties

Law360, Washington (June 28, 2011, 4:01 PM EDT) -- U.S. producers of polyethylene terephthalate film told the U.S. International Trade Commission on Tuesday that it should maintain its anti-dumping duty order on PET film from Korea, saying the domestic industry remained at risk in the wake of the economic crisis.

The ITC hearing came as part of the commission's full five-year sunset review on the Korean duty order that kicked off in December. The ITC is attempting to determine whether revoking the order would lead to material injury to the U.S. industry.
