DLA Piper, Lippes Drop Client In Facebook Suit

Law360, New York (June 28, 2011, 10:39 PM EDT) -- DLA Piper and Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP have dropped client Paul Ceglia, the New York man suing for a 50 percent stake in Facebook Inc., according to papers filed in New York federal court on Tuesday.

Ceglia, who claims he signed a financing agreement with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in 2003 that entitles him to half of the social networking giant's earnings, filed a notice of substitution of counsel replacing the firms with San Diego attorney Jeffrey A. Lake.
