Cintas' Bid For Sanctions Against Union Rejected

Law360, New York (May 24, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has denied uniform maker Cintas Corp.’s request to sanction a labor union and its counsel over a securities suit Cintas contended the union filed solely to harass the corporation.

U.S. District Judge Denise Cote on Tuesday rejected Cintas’ claim that the suit filed by trade union Unite Here in September 2006 was so deficient regarding its factual or legal basis that sanctions were appropriate.
