8th Circ. Nixes En Banc Bid In State Street Pension Suit

Law360, New York (July 6, 2011, 12:45 PM EDT) -- A suit accusing State Street Bank and Trust Co. of violating its fiduciary and contractual obligations to Missouri state pension funds will return to state court after the Eighth Circuit denied an en banc appeal of its earlier decision to remand the case.

The Eighth Circuit also declined a panel rehearing in its two-page order dated June 28 — meaning the case is heading back to the Circuit Court of Cole County, Mo.
