Ex-Bloomingdale's Clerk Sues Over Incentive Policy

Law360, New York (July 7, 2011, 6:14 PM EDT) -- A former retail store worker filed a proposed class action against Bloomingdale’s Inc. in California state court Tuesday, alleging the company’s use of incentive and commission payments effectively denied employees proper overtime wages.

Named plaintiff Fatemah Johnmohammadi filed suit on behalf of at least 200 fellow nonexempt Bloomingdale’s employees, claiming the department store chain violated at least three provisions of the California Labor Code.
