Law360, New York (July 7, 2011, 1:45 PM EDT) -- The California federal judge overseeing a trademark and competition dispute between Apple Inc. and Inc. on Wednesday nixed Apple’s bid for a preliminary order barring the online retailer from using the term “Appstore” to describe an app service for Android phones.
