MiraLax Plaintiffs Win Injunction Against Braintree

Law360, New York (July 7, 2011, 5:27 PM EDT) -- A federal judge in Delaware ruled Thursday that Braintree Laboratories Inc. must continue to do business with direct purchasers who filed a putative antitrust class action accusing the company of initiating baseless patent litigation to block a generic version of the laxative MiraLax.

U.S. District Judge Sue L. Robinson granted the request for a preliminary injunction from plaintiffs Rochester Drug Cooperative Inc., Louisiana Wholesale Drug Co. and Meijer Inc., forcing Braintree to stop its retaliatory action and resume its supplier relationships with the companies.
