Coldwell Banker, Franchise Settle Contract Row

Law360, New York (July 8, 2011, 5:31 PM EDT) -- Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC settled a dispute with one of its Seattle franchises Friday after a Washington federal court nixed the branch's contract and antitrust claims but kept franchisee and consumer protection allegations alive in the suit.

U.S. District Judge John C. Coughenour dismissed the case with prejudice Friday shortly after Coldwell and its franchise Danforth & Associates Inc. informed the court they had reached a confidential settlement.
