Texas Jury Says Halliburton Worker Not Raped

Law360, New York (July 8, 2011, 9:18 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal jury on Friday rejected a former Halliburton Co. computer technician's claim that she was raped while working for the company at a base in Baghdad's Green Zone.

The jury also rejected Jamie Leigh Jones' claim that Halliburton had defrauded her by not letting her know about allegations of past of sexual harassment before she signed on for her Iraq stint, which ended just five days after it started.
