PAGA Suits Immune From Concepcion Ruling: Calif. Court

Law360, New York (July 13, 2011, 4:13 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court on Tuesday ruled that a former Ralphs Grocery Co. employee could pursue Private Attorney General Act claims despite having waived the right in a contract, finding a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision on class action waivers not applicable to PAGA suits.
