Ex-Sky Capital CEO Charged Perks To Firm, US Says

Law360, New York (July 13, 2011, 7:53 PM EDT) -- Prosecutors in the New York federal trial of Sky Capital LLC founder Ross Mandell showed evidence Wednesday that the alleged investment fraudster lived lavishly on his company's dime, letting his business pick up the tab for a Mercedes Benz, corporate jet flights and $1.5 million in hotel and strip club bills.

Prosecutors showed jurors summaries of records documenting payments Mandell and co-defendant Adam Harrington received from Sky Capital, its affiliates, and a company where they worked previously, The Thornwater Co. LP.
