AOL's $25M Insurance Lawsuit Dismissed

Law360, New York (May 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- AOL LLC has agreed to a truce with insurance companies it accused of illegally refusing to cover $25 million in claims stemming from a lawsuit over its 1997 acquisition of CompuServe which the Web services company lost.

AOL entered a court filing Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York which dismissed the case against American International Specialty Lines Insurance Co. and certain underwriters at Lloyd's of London, with each party agreeing to bear its own attorneys' fees and costs....
