Sabre Says AA Suit Fails To Allege Antitrust Harm

Law360, New York (July 14, 2011, 2:13 PM EDT) -- Sabre Holdings Corp. asked a Texas federal court on Wednesday to toss antitrust and contract claims brought by American Airlines Inc., arguing the airline hasn't clearly shown that Sabre’s actions have curbed competition, or identified an agreement Sabre has intentionally violated.

Sabre argues American's antitrust claims should be dismissed because the air carrier has not adequately alleged exclusionary conduct by Sabre, has failed to allege anti-competitive harms and has crafted a market definition that is "implausible."
